Move - Lynda Dawn [#10 - 42:25]
This is one of the cleanest examples of sampling I’ve heard in a while. I really appreciate the fact that the producer(s) didn’t try to do too much with the original but still freshened the sound with Lynda’s vocals while preserving the original grooviness of the track.
I also highly recommend checking out the rest of Lynda’s project, At First Light, it’s a wonderful ode to 80’s funk&b.
And if you were wondering, the original song sampled in this track is: Fifth of Heaven’s Just A Little More.

This song encapsulates the essence of chill and that bass line though!

Masterpiece - Sault [#29 - 1:55:20]
Lots of retro, slightly spacey vibes on this particular track. There’s a bit of fuzziness that blankets he vocals and instrumentation but it adds a unique flair that unifies the overall tone and vibe of the song.

The falsetto, the instrumentation, the cohesiveness of his album(s). It’s all very intentional and well executed. Go listen to his entire anthology.
